My first project - Giant Hogweed or Giant Cow Parsley (Heracleum mantegazzianum). Photo taken Nov 2009 next to the Barnes Meadow Interchange in Northampton. My parents had a dried hogweed in their lounge when I was little (v. cool) and I have always been intersted in them. My folks also have two pictures on their dining room wall, they are both a painting of the same castle but one is white and one is black. I love the pure retroness of these images and that is what inspired this pair of abstract, giant hogweed seed heads.
